Maaaaaan Rinoa was an annoying-assed shit character. All she did was need to be rescued for a quarter of the game. A large portion of the shit you do in FF8 was to fix her fuck ups. Rinoa is the "Helen of Troy" of FF sans the being beautiful part. Fuck Rinoa.

I also find it to be an ironic take because of all the people saying Squall is emo when that theory makes Rinoa literally the most emo bitch of all time.

More like 7. The entire game is one giant homoerotic frustration between cloud and Sephiroth. The entire world probably would’ve never came under threat if cloud had just confessed his love in nibelheim.
