I saw it mentioned somewhere that the teams have a say on the final cut of each episode and Gruden and Mayock were strongly against the idea of hosting hard knocks in the first place. So basically they neutered it into sucking

Yep there's language in the contract that voids the guaranteed money (making it unguaranteed) if he's charged with conduct detrimental to the team

It's up to the raiders if they want to salvage this or cut him with zero dead money

2022: $16.5m<--- guaranteed money nearly gone ($47.4m)
2023: $15.0m<--- $2.6m cap hit if you cut zeke here
2024: $12.6m
2025: $15.4m
2026: $16.6m
