Foundation is back, good as ever.
halfway through Murderbot, fun stuff so far, Skarsgard is carrying with his humor. the humans being silly goofii is fine imo, they are all a pretty funny bunch, especially the Indian brother. tho i gotta say i do not like Dr Mensah's characterization much, an anxiety-ridden vomitty mess who is as reckless as the rest is pretty much diametrically opposed to her book rendition. alternately Gurathin's character is allowed to shine with more time devoted to him so give and take as with most good adaptions eh.
also i needa examine my internal biases lolz i always thought Mensah was an Indian subcontinent name but nay a Ghanaian name.
Meanwhile Bharadwaj is an Indian name but the actress most definitely is not lol

Happiness is contagious.
That’s the tagline for the mysterious new sci-fi series from “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” mastermind Vince Gilligan. Titled “Pluribus,” the show premieres with two episodes Nov. 7 on Apple TV+. The nine-episode drama will conclude its first season on Dec. 26, and it has already been renewed for Season 2.
“Pluribus” marks a reunion between Gilligan and two-time Emmy nominee Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim Wexler opposite Bob Odenkirk on “Better Call Saul.” On “Pluribus,” Seehorn is Carol, “the most miserable person on Earth” who “must save the world from happiness.” Details about the plot of the show are scant.
Read through the Murderbot Diaries after watching S1 which I think makes it successful adaptation but yeah the humans being a bunch of goofy goobers is a little weird.
I was also looking into audio books for the series but the Recorded Books version felt a little flat and wasn't happy with Graphic Audio version either, at least the samples I saw for the both of em - anyone went through either?

Same thing happened to me over the weekend. Finished watching the studio (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and figured I would get started with something different and watch and episode or two of Slow Horses. Yeahhhh, that whole first season hooks you in quick. Gary Oldman is incredible.
the hit to miss ratio for Apple shows gotta be the highest of all the streaming services yet it still seems so slept on, crazy imo
Most streaming services are about quantity over quality
It's the nature of it isn't it. Gotta keep pumping out content to make people retain their subs
