Making the most of my free sub.

    Finished Ted Lasso
    Watched some of Silo
    Finished Bad Monkey
    Working through Mythic Quest.

Seems like Severence is solid too? Anything else people would vouch for?

I could have bought an 11 pull and have 1000 gems left over, but all I got was this silly title.

First 2 seasons of For All Mankind. Seasons 3 & 4 if you have time left on your sub.

Shrinking is the best show on the platform.

Also, Presumed Innocent and Slow Horses.

Severance is the best show on television in the last several years.

Slow Horses is excellent. (Spy show)

The Afterparty is an excellent sleeper show (comedy, murder mystery) done by Lord and Miller (just Google their filmography).

For All Mankind is excellent (Alternative history drama).

Trying is great (comedy about having a child)

    Foundation is good (sci-fi)

Wife loves The Morning Show (comedy/drama about...well, title)

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is good (looks at lives of people during large scale monster attacks).

Couldn't get into Shrinking, probably because no one likes watching a bastardized, albeit funny and charming, version of their job. It's just kind weird for me.

Right now yes, but over the last decade as a whole I feel like it's gotta go to The Expanse or Letterkenny

Ehhh a lot of Expanse was good but I can't give it best show lol Especially since they didn't even finish the story of the books.

I fucking loved The Expanse. It's, in my opinion, on the Mt. Rushmore of Sci-Fi television.

But nothing ramps up my dread and anxiety like Severance does. True Detective S01 is probably the last show I can recall that made me feel like that.

Expanse was damn fine television and def in the running for goat sci-fi show. of recent years Succession prolly my #1 tho, a lot of season 4 is about as good as television has ever been.

I see no one is arguing against the Letterkenny point.

    Though to be fair.....

There was the Fartbook episode, which maybe automatically disqualifies it solely based on its existence

    Severance latest ep

    Spoiler: show
So does Gemma have multiple severs, or are they just blocking her memories of each room? Are they trying to control emotions also? So many new questions ....

I do not read fan theories or reviews or watch YouTube takes. I watch the show and try to avoid anyone else's take. This is my general understanding of Gemma's situation.

    Spoiler: show
Someone decided to take her as a pet when she was at the fertility/OBGYN, so they staged a car wreck and kidnapped her. They severed her, took her down to the "testing" floor, and blurred her sense of time by keeping her cycling multiple trauma-based severed rooms to test PTSD/Trauma carry-over, for what I presume to be years. She's now discovered this and is trying to escape. Brilliantly, they've trapped her outtie by forcing an elevator sever to exit the lower level. Then she walks herself back to her captors with essentially no need for security.

    My cold-harbor theory:
    Spoiler: show
They've discovered a way to remove trauma. MDR removing scary numbers is plucking trauma out of people. That's what is going to change the world. Ending trauma. That's my very psychiatric biased take. And it fits the theme of why Mark severed in the first place, trauma. And then he cures it.

Also, I did come across this, which is absolutely mind-blowing.
