Game can be some good fun while not having to live in it. I unsubbed this last weekend tho. Got some things I need to do and can't be distracted.

Gear was most def sold in 75 days, I've done it and been apart of many groups that did it.

It shouldn't have been and there were things that could have been done to make sure it couldn't be sold. Also the rarest of King stuff, Ridill/Adaberk/Dalm, was not sold or prohibitively priced when it was. That's an effect of server side rarity where shells had to take care of their own before merc'ing stuff.

Compare that to Sky stuff being sold, which is the exact reason why forced pops were not actually better.

Ehhh, I was okay with most sky popped NMs just cause farming the pops was a pretty fair system. I felt it encouraged more team work on the nights we farmed pops vs everyone standing around waiting for something to pop

On Asura graduating to Kings just meant fighting for Fafnir instead of fighting for Ullikummi. Only you had to clear the golems and pay attention every 13 minutes vs. every 30, and the pop could be 13+ hrs instead of forced at 3.

Yeah, for gear that wasnt as good as kings for most jobs. I'm ok with a pop system for that gear in that case lol

Also, that event came out literally less than 24 hours ago. I still don't get what your point is, if something is BiS it means that its the best gear in the game? You do realize there are still sub level 99 items that are considered BiS for certain jobs for certain tasks?

i'm not as hardcore about aery/behemoth's dominon/VoS as gred is, i enjoyed it but i also don't miss it, other than i agree with him it definitely weeded out the casual players and rewarded the hardcore crazy people, like i was back then. personally i preferred races to khim/tia/cerb/KV. that shit was a blast imo. seeing who could get setup first and claim it first and then the fiascoes of wiping in-between.

still prefer the aery/BD/VoS stuff over what we have now though

You don't need to make competition between players to weed out casuals. Difficulty does that.

You said I contradicted myself. First you came and said you get the best gear in the game just by sitting there. Then I said, its not the best gear in the game. Then you said, it is because its BiS. So you're saying BiS (which doesn't mean much because there are so many diff gear sets) is "THE BEST GEAR IN THE GAME." There are level 75 items that are still used as part of gear sets that are BiS, does that make them the best gear in the game?

Something I would consider the best gear in the game is something that greatly influences a battle, like an Idris.
