I'm not coming back for anything short of a free ridill for my war and a completed level 99 aegis. Yes, I know nobody plays pld anymore.

Ridills are obsolete and Relics can be completely self-farmed now. Also PLD is definitely still wanted, I see a lot of people going PLD/BLU.

no. still have to do the old gimmick of transferring to a server with a character with the same name as you (a mule you created, for instance)

they are bringing race change soon though (possibly in this update)

race doesn't matter. if your char doesn't have a beard you were never relevant in the first place

Didn't they basically even out the stats between races ages ago?

somewhat. there are still slight differences in base stats even post adjustments, but it’s more the fact that most ilvl 119 gear has so much stat vomit on it that the differences can be largely negated

elvaans are still superior because they look the coolest

Galkas at least used to be able to open the weighted door in quicksand caves by themselves and that was their only unique flex but then they did a QOL patch so any race can do it with a key item

First of all, you're right. Elvaan are the coolest. But F. elvaan thighs are goated. Two things can be true.

I retired my original character and created a new F. Elvaan to be his successor, and after getting tights that would have been tight pants on him and seeing that they're basically booty shorts on female characters, I can attest that Elvaan do indeed have the thighs.
