I'm on Asura, I can get you a linkpearl to a help new players shell if you want.

Also once you have 300 login points make sure you grab Shantotto II's alter ego from the Greeter Moogle, it's the best DD trust in the game.
Just got her actually while exploring in town. I'll take that linkpearl for sure, my link was made by Fondue and is 100% dead lol
Now comes the daunting task of fixing up a .lua for DNC, SAM, and BLM. I never finished RDM to 99 but it looks like it'd take a day or two with all the bonuses going around. People just solo with trusts for exp now at all levels? It's Salodin in game ofc

I popped in yesterday and got my ticket, spent the day reorienting myself figuring out what I was doing, what I need to be doing, and what the fuck is this thing in my bag wait how do I move stuff between all these bags again.
What's scary was I had not logged in in 3 years, and I did not KNOW where I was going, but my feet led me exactly where I needed to go to get some bronze imperial coins so I could open up my Mog Locker.
As when I started up 23 years ago, I'm on Bahamut.
Now, I had a look at the returning player endgame progression guide on the wiki, and it goes "Yeah, you should be able to (trust) solo Normal or lower Ambuscade",
apparently I fuckin' can't, or that's some bullshit, or it assumes you have all the jobs so you can tailor to whatever.
Depending on your job and trusts (and assuming basic ilvl 117 gear at minimum) very easy and easy Ambuscade can be slept walked thru. Normal is where it gets a bit more dependent on better gear/trusts/your job and also what kind of enemy it is this cycle
The good news is that even if you are new to endgame you can get a very decent set of 119 gear from Ambuscade after just a few runs, and there’s likely people willing to help if you ask
I’ll say again unless you plan on tackling the harder endgame stuff you don’t even need to worry about lua or gear swap, just fuckin yolo it. Go play the game and have fun before you decide if you want to spend your limited free time doing excel sheets and shit for a game you are just gonna drop anyway after you get bored in a few days
Don’t forget if you have any mules still active on your content ID they can get a Kupon for a weapon too
Whose unity team should I join, thinking Maat

I joined Apururu because it's always useful to have a healer trust on call.
I'm Zeletria in game, I'll look for you when I'm on.
I remember now my worst enemy, my inventory. Every inventory option (that is free) is maxed out 80/80 and my inventory is 78/80 and I have no idea what is good to keep or not and soooooo much gear for multiple jobs over the years lol
I saw this the other day but did not give into temptation.
What is there to do in game anymore besides get new gear and level it up?

Pankration, Monstrosity, Mog Garden/Monster Rearing, Chocobo Racing/Digging, Doing ALL the quests/storylines.
Uh, doing your damnedest to one man win the Shadowreign campaign and Fiat Lux your server?
I'm gonna finish up every storyline, then see if I stick around after that. Up until aht urghan at least you can face roll and be fine especially with trusts. WotG is probably this easy too.
Just realized Rhapsody rewards are so strong. Speed rushing thru that for the bonuses. Are y'all soloing for exp, or do you group up at all? And where?

You can indeed solo pretty much all the story content in the game, even in Ambuscade gear you'll be able to see the entire story up through Rhapsodies, though you'll probably need help for the final Rhapsodies fight and a few of The Voracious Resurgence battles.
depending on job, everything is soloable story-wise. this post reminded me I haven’t tried the only mission I haven’t been able to solo so far this time around (the last TVR fight). maybe I’ll give it a go later today
also keep in mind some of the rhapsody storyline/rewards is gatekept by the other stories. you mention wotg here, but you’ll need to do SoA at some point as well if you haven’t already
speaking of SoA: if you care about capacity points/job points at all, you’ll want to do as many of the records of eminence objectives tied to SoA as most of them give a permanent buff to how many capacity points you get. don’t have to go out of your way really, just make sure you have them set as you progress through the respective zones
And SoA missions are gate kept still I believe by how many coalition assignments you’ve completed so I think it can still take many real life days to progress
You can get through without getting past Probationer, but yeah.
Each rank in a coalition (there are 6) takes 20 imprimaturs, and you earn 40 every 10 days. It's a month to get each up one rank if you're on your shit.
(It gets a little faster at the end, but close enough)
