I have now done a dozen VD runs and did indeed receive 3 of the Vagary NM drop items out of those dozen runs. Of course, none of them were the one I needed and now I’m out of seals the true FFXI experience

Working more thru Voracious Resurgence and got to a really annoying boss fight

So you gotta fight this boss and if you WS when it’s below 90% HP there is a good chance it will use Benediction. This took me a few tries to figure out. Looked up boss strat and it goes “oh don’t worry Trusts won’t activate it, you just have to kill it slowly”, so I hold my WS and my trusts are going wild doing their own WS and not triggering it. Until they do. And I try two more times, and the trusts do indeed keep triggering it. Sigh. So I had to ride with full healer, bard, and a scholar trust so I could slowly poke it to death. Lame.

Think I'm hitting the point where my interest is waning. Without a group to do Sortie and Odyssey with, I can't progress my gear any further. The only thing to do is level more jobs, which leaves me needing more gear I can't get. Might be time to pack things up again.

you don’t have to do all the previous ones to do jumbotender, you just have to unlock rank 7

unless you mean is it the last cactuar evolution, in which case yes it’s the last one of that species

Yeah I've got everything but the furrow to rank 7, I just want to collect every memento. Right now I've got a cluster, a white adamantoise, a new mini slime to turn into a clot since I already did the Hecteyes path, and am finishing up the first of 4 mandragoras with an Ake-Ome.

It's over 200 harvests to get from rank 6 to 7, no idea how many I'm on now.

Now that bonanza winners have come out and I didn't win anything I'm back to letting my sub run out. Had fun messing around with the free bonanza weapon and I think I made some good progress on Voracious Resurgence but still didn't have enough interest to stay subbed when I got Expedition 33 eating my time right now and a new XIV patch dropping in a couple weeks.
