Has inventory space been increased or so I need to juggle all kinds of storage again?

Well Idk how long it’s been since you last played, but in addition to the Mog
Safe, home nation storage, and Mog locker from Al Zahbi—there is Mog Safe 2 which I believe is quested…Mog Sack which everyone gets for free I believe automatically at a certain level, Mog Case which you can buy for 10k Gil, Mog Satchel that you get for having a linked security token, and Mog Wardrobe thru Mog Wardrobe 8 which hold only equipment but you can access anywhere. Everyone gets Mog wardrobe 1 and 2 for free, but wardrobes 3-8 are extra monthly charges on top of your sub.

I remember home nation storage, mog locker and satchel. I think there was some quest way back when to increase space of something too. Last time I was in game was in 2013 or so. I'm pretty sure I had everything related to storage up to that point.

August 7th 2013 was the last time I booted the game apparently.

Each one of those things I listed can hold up to 80 items each so you can do the math on that. Plus if you still have any mules active, they can also achieve those storage upgrades, but they will initially be limited on a fresh character until you do the necessary steps to expand inventory.

Oh and all the storage slips so you can store your AF, relic, Abyssea, salvage gear etc with coupons

If you are a returning player that doesn’t have the August trust yet (one of the best tanks) he is available with the Ochre Mog Pell. There are ways to grind him thru questing so if you are endgame that might not be the best option, but for a fresh new character he would be a good choice.

Also available for the Ochre pell is the Mumor trust which is usually only available once per year during the Summer Fest event. She is a Dancer and very useful for farming old Dynamis, so consider that as well.

Did you get the cipher for one you already had and thus could not redeem it a second time? If that’s the case, a GM might be able to restore your Mog Pell for you.

If you just chose the wrong one and used the cipher and now realized you goofed, yeah, you’re hosed.

It was in that video Anoat posted (I think in spam?) about catching up in 2026. It's an event to get upgraded RSE gear which is decent for jobs that aren't quite geared yet. It seemed interesting enough to do it.

What's Strange Happenings?

It’s to celebrate the crossover event with XIV, it’s kind of like FATEs but in XI. You fight Fafnir, Alexander, and Kirin when they pop in an open area, everyone can attack. Killing each one of them gives up upgrade material to make your JSE 119 and a good DT set. Killing each one twice gets you the full set. Really good DT set for returners.

Word from some folks in my LS is in you are a free returner and you are logged in when the campaign ends, you will stay logged in until you log out or d/c or server maintenance.
