different route based on jobs available but got 13k galli…and a starstone and octahedrite drop. seriously debating saving up to make the shield lol

went blu/war and had to change spells midrun because they just wanted cdc spam and couldn’t remember the optimized melee spell set

i need to make macros that say when im opening/closing skillchains

i logged in late last night because world cup but i caught the tail end of dynamis and was immediately furious

not because i missed dynamis

but because someone posted in ls chat the parse of all DDs in dynamis and i want my name up there

I think I was like 4.5% lol pretty good considering I can hardly engage in dynamis due to all the lag

I ended up winning a rank 3 bonanza prize, debating what to get. Looks like the best options are hallowed accessories or the crepuscular accessories.

I went to my first Dynamis with the LS this past Sunday and came in 3rd, which I think is pretty good considering I forgot to switch out of my DT gear until wave 3. I really gotta master WAR though.

I'm just gonna full time my DT gear in dynamis because I kept getting oneshot by every Mijin Gakure for more than my max HP, and that was with Shell V.

No, standard operating procedure is a COR oneshots the statues with Leaden Salute if they can (gets more difficult on harder waves), the adds spawn on aggro and chill for a second or two and usually gives time to sleep the more annoying ones, then everyone runs in and zergs what they can.

They did some sac pulls for a few of the wave 3 circles but then people just stood there while the shadows pathed back so we ended up having to fight them anyway.

Yeah, FFXI can still be a lot of fun with a group. I still think of the time 6ish(?) years ago when Day, Fondue, me, and a few others came back after not playing since WotG and did a bunch of the latest content together and even put together a full Aeonic run. Felt like old FFXI again.

Seeing the chat here makes me want to play again, but I know I won't have the time unfortunately.

you don’t need DT gear when you have drain3

Next version update has been given a nebulous “early July” release. Not sure how much I’ll be able to play over the 4th weekend, so might have to crank out Ambuscade this weekend. Only done a little bit this month.

I'm here all weekend and always down for Ambu. I drain it of HMPs and rift items every month, about 33% of the way done with my Twashtar just from that.

For a job that has Dual Wield how much of bonuses does it take to cap it? I don't remember.

In my case THF has DW IV. No formulas please just a percentage.

Depends how much haste gear and magic haste you have. For thf with 25% haste in gear, if 0 magic haste 44, if 30 (haste II), 26.

We got to the mega boss of Dynamis Windurst before it killed us but we got to spend some time filling up the mask for relic weapon upgrades at least

And then Mert showed me how to do new Limbus and it was a lot easier with two people instead of soloing, god that solo grind has gotta suck.

Was THF, got a floor of undead. Decided to back out after spending a half hour.

the floors/zones are set as far as mobs

appolyon is
undead/amorphs
demons/imps/ahriman/taurus/corpselights
vermin
lizards

temenos is basically
main story Beastmen (orcs yags quads) and some random stuff
lesser beastmen (sahagin tonberry antica) and some random stuff
sea mobs
mix of all three previous zones

but yeah solo for me a run usually takes just under 2 hours, appolyon is faster though because my drk can just dread spikes train and then catastrophe everything to stay alive
