    What is the point of assistants in your Mog Garden? I thought they would harvest things for you and I would just pop in and collect it all out of a chest or something.

    They increase output (slightly) or can get you more rare items (rarely) depending on what you ask them to do. They're not really worth it but there's also not much else to spend the stars on. Only really useful one is asking Kyuin to look for seeds so you don't have to farm say malboro vines.
