technically the NieR series is set in a timeline stemming from one of Drakengard's five endings and there are a handful of references to Drakengard 1 and 3, but not very many, and the link between them and NieR is tenuous. as you've played NieR you should be set as there are quite a few references to it and you'll see some familiar faces. if you want to scope the whole mad 20,000 year narrative Yoko Taro built in his head this chick does a hella good recap and also real good video essays on the game once you've beaten it.
No question at all. Nier Automata should be the game you play next.
Nier is on my short list as well. I'm just about done with Dragon Quest XI, and Astylla got me Octopath Traveler to play next. Probably will jump to Nier after that, which should lead me up nicely to FF7 Remaster.
Why do ppl recommend nier so much? I've only seen gameplay but it didnt look very different than say DMC or Revengance. Is it the plot? Is it something spoilery and you dont want to say but still highly recommend it?

The way the story is told, the story itself, and the music to sum it up in 1 not-long sentence.
Also, so others can learn of 2B’s glorious ass in all its splendor.
How do y'all find time for games. I have struggled the last few years. My BG time is basically when I'm bored at work. Feel swamped with house / sports / tv shows to catch up on / dogs / girlfriend once I'm in my free time
I NEED TO FIND MORE TIME FOR HALO ON PC
Although the last real game I played and finished was bloodstained back in the late summer/early fall. I’m about to step up my switch library with this train to work commute.
I usually get 2-3 hours a night depending on how long I spend at the gym/if I have a date, so I'll usually spend that on a game.

I've put about 160 hours into FFXV and with few exceptions that was spread out over the course of about 3 months.

I've totally abandoned my gym time the last year. I'm gonna get fat. I think I prob just sleep too much. Heading to bed at like 9 lately to wake up at 630 but I hate being tired
The fuck you doin with 9.5 hrs of sleep?
I go to bed any time between 9 and 10 depending on how late my wife is working, how fussy my daughter is, and how long it takes to make dinner. I get up at 5:15. I think I usually average around 7.5 hours.
I think I average I get 8-8.5 and some nights I get like 3
I joined one of those 30-minute workout gyms this week and I'm really trying to make myself wake up earlier so I can go twice a day, before work and after.
