Got back in to God of War after taking a break for a couple weeks during Christmas and New Years. I’ve now encountered the Valkyries and I finally understand why there were so many YAAAAS STEP ON ME memes last year.

I have defeated Sigrun and it took me like two hours straight of try, die, retry before I got her. But it never felt like a chore or unfair. On the other hand the Muspelheim trial with “don’t get hit” with a frost Ancient at the end can suck my dick I’m never trying that shit again.

I have finished God of War, I think I made a tactical blunder by doing all the Valkryies as soon as I could because it was hella challenging (but satisfying to win) and their gear made me totes OP for the ending sequence and I didn’t know you could go back to the overworld and do stuff after or I probably would have done main story first and then all the side stuff. Oh well, was still fun. I don’t think God of War was better than Red Dead 2 but I can’t fault anyone who chose it as 2018 GOTY because it was really fantastic.
Gonna do Spider-Man next, I think.

Figured I'd ask in this thread.
Back in the beginning of at least PS2 FFXI, there was a website a Japanese guy tried to post info for people to help them. Site was super basic and sometimes the translations were off but people loved him because he was translating shit that JP knew from their release. Wasn't a forum like Alla or KI or anything. Just him posting info he had.
Anyone know wtf I'm talking about and his name and/or the name of his site?
