I thought they were good questions but some of those answers were tough to take in. Like, I knew they had a small team still dedicated to the game but I had no idea when they said small they meant literally six fucking people. And then basically saying they can’t do a classic server because they don’t have the code for it, lul spaghetti code memes shall ride again.

But this exploit, I mean, its definitely SE's fault too.

From my understanding, as soon as you start a synth, the result is known, however it can still be interrupted. So theres literally a window where you can interrupt the NQ synth and keep your materials. How this is done is beyond me, but if you synth while engaged, it will just break the crystal, which is how people discovered subcraft levels back in the day. However, this one isnt even breaking the crystal.

Theres no reason for the result of the synth to be known as soon as you hit "start", but have a window of opportunity to cancel the synth.


And I'm taking a total shot in the dark, but the old exploit where people would materialize whatever items they wanted, ie: Medals...they send a packet that says "hey I'm giving you X items, give me Y" and the server doesnt validate X, they just give Y. The server just blindly trusts the client.
