Possibly the most fun I had with the game during its lifespan. They can keep that noise.

The problem was RDM soloing took FOR-EV-ER.

There was need to nerf the shit out of it directly. Just put a 15-20 min depop timer on high profile mobs.

i used to solo almost every mob in sky and a lot of sea pop nms. every hnmls shell on odin, that i myself wasn't in, hated me like you wouldn't believe

as someone that did it, rdm solo capabilities were stupid and should have 100% been nerfed back when we all played

Yes. They seemed to have an extreme aversion to proper balance changes (that wasn't making sam/rng usless and reducing the utility of /nin shadows). I guess they were worried about the time people put into grinding xp and gear.

I forgot theres no instanced fights, so having it depop would reset the spawn timer and can easily be used to grief others.

Their "fix" to rdm includes changes such as a 50mp refresh and 13min convert cool down. Odd changes considering they said they didn't want it to be a healing competitor to whm, but then give it less freedom to spend time doing anything other than backline support and healing lol. It's not actually an era server, it's "a bunch of things we liked when this game first came out in NA, with the stuff that annoyed us changed so other people are annoyed instead" which is fine! Just don't try to feign otherwise lol.

They also changed some spell enmity and tp gain for the better I'd say, but also their inability to ever discuss the changes they already implemented, while also coming up for bonk reasons for why they want to do what they're doing all adds up to something you can straight up miss if you value your free time. At 1x speeds this game is too slow to put up with stuff like that

They also have this weird fascination with HNMs, and that's why rdm must be nerfed. Idk, whatever, not my problem lol

The amount of new "Streamers" and youtubers makes me think this is some weird effort to promote this server. Or they are all trying to copy that Ninja guy since he mentioned he wanted to play on it. Complete pass. Hell, if all you care about is XP you can just do that on retail, we have a new XP grind that is worse than 1-75 on that server.
