Yeah, shampooing everyday can be bad for your hair, but when you do shampoo, use one of these https://www.amazon.com/Bossman-Shamp.../dp/B07MTPJZL9 It'll help prevent dandruff. There's some softer ones out there, but I like that one cause it's good for beards too.

Thick and/or curly hair needs some kind of moisturizer in order to comb well or at all, especially coarse beard hard. If I dont comb during a shower or after with oil, I'll end up pulling out many hairs in the struggle, break off many ends in the struggle, double the amount of split ends in the struggle, well you get the point.
