That's all fine and good and they're entitled to that, that's their right to live as they may, but there shouldn't be enforceable penalties to penalize employers to placate other people's completely arbitrary genders, of which that are an unknowable and infinite number of.

That is using the biologically and grammatically accurate way to communicate to an individual. It may not be preferred, and it may seem rude/dickish, but forcing other people to conform to your beliefs should not be legally enforcable or penalizing. You can tell me you identify as a woman, and I should be allowed to say no, you were born a man, I will refer to you as a man. You think I'm wrong, I think you're wrong, and neither of us get punished or ostracized for saying it, because speech is PROTECTED.

I promise you that no company in the states have people call themselves all of the 58 genders. I doubt you’d find any work place where people in the same office identify as more than four of the pronouns.

It’s not like someone call someone ”He” and get fired immediately. It’s more in cases where it is used as a way to harass someone. You know, if someone has been asked to be refered to as “they” or “her” or whatever muktiple times but soneone intentionally refers to them as they same gender multiple times.

It also applies to non-trans people. For example, if someone keeps identifying you as “her” or “rock” due to your dense and thick-headed nature.

Notice the willingly part. As a management class position within a county in California, I just got done doing my mandatory sexual harassment training. If you honestly don't know as you're introducing yourself to someone new that they are Transgender, and they correct you and you immediately refer to them as their preferred gender/pronoun, guess what? You won't be found liable for harassment. That law was enacted and passed to expand on the bare minimum federal government sexual harassment laws to keep you from being an asshole by calling Jane, a MtF transgender woman Jim every time you see them and constantly referring to them as male, even after they have asked you to stop and have attempted to correct you.

Conservative/rightwing speakers are blackballed from speaking at some universities, speakers who are voicing their views on gender/abortion/etc get fire alarms pulled on them while speaking.
