it's basically been the wrong response every single time. abandoning Iraq to Saddam's revenge when multiple UN armies were in the region liberating Kuwait + defending Saudi Arabia and there were multiple domestic uprisings against him, the second American invasion + occupation that led to fierce Sunni & Shia insurgencies (thank you based Kurds for never killing us), the Obama withdrawal that led to Sunni oppression by the Shia government enabling the rise of ISIS, and now unilateral bombings against a negligent Hezbollah presence.

whatever the intentions you would be hard pressed to fuck up a country worse than the US of A has fucked up Iraq (outside of the Kurdish autonomous region).

Breakdown. Just Security obtained previously redacted emails showing President Trump was the deciding factor in withholding aid to Ukraine.

The Department of defense questioned this, suggested that it's illegal, and that Trump should consult his legal counsel.

The DOJ redacted emails showing the Pentagon comptroller questioning why the OMB were mischaracterizing the funding process to the public.

The DOJ redacted emails showing the acting deputy defense secretary warning OMB about the legality of the hold and gathering legal teams because of violations of the impoundment control act.

There's no reason this should have been redacted other than the DOJ covering up the entire reason Trump was impeached and showing that there was no one around him who supported the hold.

That's a huge bolster to the impeachment.
