I can agree with this. I only cut that out because I wasn't trying to point out they hadn't lied or anything because doing a 180 is noteworthy, but the implication of the part I quoted being simply put that them denying a life changing accusation was some hint at guilt or being untrustworthy because of it, is all. Your argument that they've lied in the past and/or done a 180 is sound.

Honestly I'm of the mind to trust no politician at face value, but I'm not trying to be a contrarian here.
