Oh shoot I forgot the funding bill expires in a matter of weeks.
Over/under on another shutdown until the impeachment inquiry ends?

You guys I paid a hitman to kill someone and they didn't do it so what I did wasn't illegal lol
Is literally what you sound like, Guartz. I've said this before. You're taking two incidental things: 1) Aid withheld and 2) Aid released, and ignoring everything in between.
It's not what I literally sound like, it's what your caricature of me sounds like. Hiring a hitman is illegal, asking for a favor is not. And I understand the Abuse of power angle, and with horse blinders on it certainly does look like Trump was looking for personal political gain by asking Zelensky to investigate 2016 and Bursima. However dot dot dot we have Durham and Senate hearings that give Trump good reason to do so. Persuit of justice, if you will. You guys probably have no idea what I'm talking about because MSM skims it all if it mentions it at all.

Hence Trump's concern with corruption and hold on aid.
Trump is 3 years in office, why wait to do it until now? Biden's comments were very public and made quite some time ago.
Why stonewall the investigation completely? The assumption seems to be that the Senate would not possibly convict even if the House does impeach so why obstruct the investigation at every turn?
The articles of impeachment approved against Nixon had little to do with the Watergate break in, he was impeached for obstruction of justice, abuse of power, and contempt of Congress.

Trump had good reason to do so because the AG he hired to downplay the Mueller investigation and has a lot to lose in the impeachments trial has, in fact, hired someone to come up with evidence saying Trump had a good reason to do it. Even though he's either turned up about as much as Trey Gowdy turned up in the Benghazi hearings, or because he's somehow plugged all the leaks of the past 3 years. Forgive me for not buying the latter. You continue to base your opinion on an investigation that's revealed nothing and ignore the mountain if evidence presented to you.
Well, let me put it to you guys this way. If Trump is not removed from office and takes 2020, the next investigation to dominate US news will be of most of Obama admin, including the previous Ukraine delegation and probably Obama himself. You guys should really be paying attention to this. The amount of implicit illegal activities that are dripped quietly is staggering.
Please elaborate.

Guartz the amount of outright illegal activity associated with Trump and those closest to him is staggering.
I understand you aren't exposed to it because for whatever reason the entire 40 years he and his criminal dealings have been public knowledge were banished from memory as soon as he won the Republican nomination. But ignorance of the facts does nothing to erase that Trump has throughout his entire life been called out for:
-Fraud
-Tax evasion
-Sexual Assault
-Obstruction of Justice
-Falsifying records
-Breach of contract
-Federal violations of anti-discrimination laws
As for those close to him? Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Rick Gates, Michael Cohen, and George Papadopoulos, among others. His allegation that Baltimore is 'rat-infested?" Every building in the city owned by Jared Kushner - EVERY building - is under investigation for ignoring years of reports of mold and rodent infestations. Kellyanne Conway has violated the Hatch Act. Betsy DeVos was just found in contempt of court.
So I'll understand if you can elaborate on a hidden warren of Obama-era crimes we've somehow overlooked and for whatever reason were not investigated before this point- I notice both Clintons remain out of jail as well- but I'm going to ask that you acknowledge the litany of abuse and flagrant disregard for the law Trump has exhibited his entire life first.

Here's a screencap of The_Durham subreddit. Just look at the website links. Gateway pundit. The Federalist. The Daily Caller. Breitbart. That's all you really need to know.
