Question:

I've been lurking in this thread and the previous ones for forever and I used to enjoy reading all the misc updates + discussion on the craziness that's happening during this administration, but lately it's devolved into debating Guartz about impeachment. I also enjoy reading these debates but I do miss more in depth discussions about the day to day non-impeachment stuff that is still happening. Would it be worth it to spin off impeachment stuff into a separate thread for said debates and keep this one about misc administration news unrelated to the impeachment inquiry?

Ah there is tendency to just post negative news, so impeachment will be central to any Trump discussion.

To be fair there have been a number of unrelated to impeachment posts the past ten pages or so and there’s no real talk about them and they just get skipped over for you all to debate impeachment. I get that it’s probably the most important topic right now, I just also enjoyed reading the discussions over the normal non impeachment day to day stuff.

Impeachment is incredibly news worthy.

Like, it's incredibly news worthy. I can understand being fatigued over it, but that's kinda the point. The dude is incredibly inept, criminally so even, and it should be in the forefront of your politics and the news until hes removed by impeachment or election.

And yeah, it is kinda like complaining about why theres so much violence in the gun thread lol
