At least it’s a step in the right direction. Been waiting for this guy to do something in this area since the start. He’s been talking about healthcare since the start of his campaign. Come on ol Donnie boy, use your powers for good. U can doooo eetttt!
Or maybe it's bad, actually lol

My hospital spends more on landscaping.
...sherrif's deputy headlocks abandoned orphan quadraplegic black teen onto the ground, slams head into wall.

whoops, wrong thread!
I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt on the health care thing, it's so rare to hear any good news in that direction.

No, price transparency is pretty unambiguously good.
Making the data available will cause local hospitals to come to one consensus way of extracting wealth from the uninsured who really should have gotten insurance to make their bottom line, so the mythology that it will let everyday customers comparison shop is pretty transparently false (at least when we reach steady state again).
However, just having the data available will keep Sarah Kliff busy churning out exposes about our stupid system, which will hopefully get people mad and save us from it. Also, it should allow some comparison shopping for procedures so expensive that they are worth a plane ticket. It also moves us towards a setting consensus market price for each procedure, which will help us move towards single payer rate setting.
The good outweighs the bad by a lot.
Pretty sure he was found guilty on lying to congress, witness tampering and obstruction. If in your mind that proves mah russian collusion then so be it, but that's not what he was guilty of. I think I remember reading he got dates wrong and sent fuck you letter to one of the witnesses.
The only thing we learned from her testimony is that she was upset because she isn't a diplomat anymore and Trump doesn't like her.
She wasn't even technically fired, she still has a job.
I mean, shit forgot I was a democratic socialist now... uhh.. WALLS ARE CLOSING IN DONNIE. DRUPF IS FINISHED.
Six Trump have been convicted due to the Mueller investigation with over 40 arrests and resignations.
Probably would be higher if Barr's punk ass wasn't there.
For it being a witch hunt...shit is turning out a lot of witches...
You know...I give you and the other Trump cult members credit Guartz...ya'll have to do some weird fucking mental gymnastics to keep the facade of "Trump being the god emperor" going for this long.
Man, all these russian agents must be die hards since they rather go to jail then spill the beans.
They dont have to be Russian agents to be doing abuses of power, guartz
You keep calling them russian agents, not me (or anyone else in this thread afaik)

Not going to argue that this is good but we're also taking into account the suffocation of investigative journalism that had occurred on both the local and national levels.
I don't think there's going to be a whole lot of net good. A lot of times when I'm going to look for health care I'm more worried about being covered than anything else. And well if my ass ends up in an ambulance its not like I'm going to have much of a choice of where I end up in.
It might be a good minor step. I'd have to read in more but its sounds more like something to shop about for likes than anything that'll actually help.
Also our current AG gave a speech and uh the reactions from left twitter aren't good.
