A lot typically means a great deal or many. Given how many conspiracy theories there are and how few of them actually turn out to be true, probably not the best pronoun to go with.

I guess depends what your starting point is, my assumptions is that very few if any turn out to be true typically, but lately that trend has been reversing. So i guess it's fair to say, a lot more then usual. I mean a year ago when alex jones said their was global pedo ring involving powerful people and the media was covering it up it was called a conspiracy theory. Fuck me he got that shit right.
