lol. I know. You're right.
I'm just a HUGE animal person. Not like PETA crazy fucker. I just have a very high regard for the life of animals, so I'm all for ramrodding anyone that's going to go out of their way to harm and torture something that can't fight back and doesn't understand hate.

Trump has done enough good things lately that I wonder wtf is up.
The Pro-Democracy Hong Kong bill made me suspect that they hotswapped him during his unscheduled hospital visit.
Maybe we need to keep negative news cycles and impeachment stuff up forever.
He is pro-autocrat and has made it clear that he gives zero fucks about domestically or internationally advocating for democracy or human rights.
This is out of character for him even if it is trolling China.
Well I'll take your word for it
He does hate China though.

Byrthnote is correct that he is pro-autocrat, or at leas the idea of autocracy. He likes Xi and Kim Jong-un in the respect he wishes people would let him govern American that way, where it is like the country is his company that he is in charge of and is accountable to no one.
This isn't "orange man bad" speculation. He has said these things about both leaders.
Of course that means he likes Xi for directly the opposite reason for supporting democracy in HK.
does not give a fuck about anything. This thing in HK and the US/Canada will only get worse. Many mainlanders despise HK, they feel HKers are ungrateful.
My father is in China, and asked my mother what is going on in HK. The reporting is very pro-China. They’re control of there people and the media rivals any country in the world.
Unfortunately China is the new kid on the world block. And the world needs to learn to play with Xi Jinping.

Yeah, Trump explicitly passed on several great opportunities to say "wtf China" about the protests in the apparent favor of furthering his attempts to recover the US-China trade relation that he trashed without extracting any concessions.
It could be that in a month we will find out that China's trade negotiators weren't playing and this was a dig at them, but zero percent of me believes it was because he cares about HK.
I've seen a bunch of international Chinese students claiming the HK protesters are the violent ones and that they are randomly killing people and that's why the police are going in to stop them.
It's like the narrative control over anti-fa and white supremacists in the context of China.
China can go fuck itself. Trump's policy against China (which is in direct opposite of how he handles Xi) is one of the few things he's done that I agree with, I only wish he treated Xi the same way. Xi has done so many horrendous things against the Uyghurs, the HK people and Tibet to only mention a few.
The Chinese-Hong Kong secret "whitelist" trains that ship off HK protesters are just horrendous and rivals what happened a Tiananmen Square, and it honestly frightens me that China is powerful enough that they can do all of it while the rest of the world just watches. Trump and the US government deserves plenty of kudos for giving China the finger whenever they've been able to do it.
Then again, Myanmar persecutes Muslims in their country too (albeit not to the same extent) while most of the world watches, so maybe the rest of the world are just cowards that don't give a fuck what happens outside their own borders as long as they are not personally affected by it.
I'm not sure why you guys are trying too hard to understand Trump signing the bill. This was sent to him with a majority and bipartisan in both the house/senate. He would be a fucking fool to not sign it.
I don't think anyone is having a hard time understanding him signing the bill. I think we're more at a point where him being a horrible person is the norm rather than the exception so any good bill he signs is surprising. I wouldn't put it past him to not sign it because "I'm the president and I can do what I want"
While a good thing y'all are quite dumb if you think he signs bills for any reason other than adulation.
So the autocrat thing has been raised numerous times during slow news weeks by MSM for a few years now, because MSM is unwilling to say anything positive about the president. It's cycles between his health, mental stability and his autocratic tendencies. The reasons they come to this conclusion? Trump fires bureaucrats on a regular basis and praises foreign leaders he is trying to negotiate with. The entire thing is like a bad joke.
It's equally funny to watch people on these forums pretend like it's the first time president approved a bill majority of people like.
