It's all theater at this point. There's a slim chance he won't be impeached but I wouldn't bank on it. There's zero chance he'll be removed.

Dems know he will never be removed. This is to dig up as much bad as possible on Trump and his behavior, his appointees, and his motivations for the run up to election. The narrative will be that he's just in in for himself, he uses the entire US government as a tool to his own personal and political ends, and he doesn't care at all about the little guy.
Unfortunately Dems are terrible at everything, and they're gonna nominate Sleepy Joe, so the least electable asshat ever will still have a chance.
He'll Nixon himself before allowing the chance to be removed.

688k SNAP (food stamps) recipients to lose access under Trump's new rule.
The rub is that unemployed people in rural areas that have limited job opportunities will lose their benefits. The new rule makes it more difficult for states to waive a requirement that able-bodied adults without children work at least 20 hours a week or else lose their benefits. The administration says the change is intended to encourage those receiving SNAP to get jobs, but anti-hunger advocates worry it will hurt low-income individuals who can't find steady work.
"We need to encourage people by giving them a helping hand, but not allowing it to become an infinitely giving hand," U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue said in a press release. "Now, in the midst of the strongest economy in a generation, we need everyone who can work, to work."
SNAP statutes already limit adults to three months of benefits in a three-year period unless they meet the 20 hours per week requirement, but many states currently waive that requirement in high unemployment areas. This change would make those waivers harder to get.
Provisions of the new rule are slated to take effect on April 1, 2020.
IE: People that voted for him.
Gonna starve to own the libs.
Honestly, I feel no pity for the people that voted for him. I'm a bleeding heart liberal...but at this point fuck it:
If his supporters get fucked over for the shit he is getting pushed through then so be it. At some point I draw the line of helping them avoid making a mistake to treating them like a child: Let them stumble and fuck up. Maybe next time they will learn...probably not, but eventually they may learn not to do stupid shit.

I've been at this point for a while now. When they had all 3 branches, I found it a little sad they didn't really gut some of the social programs like they claim should be. Knowing it would hit a huge part of their voting base. My southern family/friends on FB talking mad shit about all this stuff and people leeching off the government. Almost all of them are taking advantage of some program or another. I don't think they will ever learn unless the R's do what they say they will. I feel like we should just give the right full control for 8 years and let them go ape shit, and maybe people will learn what they are voting for.
They will then blame democrats in state legislature, even if those democrats are in the minority there too. They are already not using logic to make decisions now, we shouldnt assume theyll suddenly make rational decisions at a later date.

The RNC purchased $94.8k worth, ~4,000 copies, of Donald Jr's book "Triggered" to help get it on the NYT Best Sellers list.
The publishing industry has had a good year when it comes to books about recent politics: James Comey, Michael Wolff and Jim Mattis have all spent weeks on the treasured Times lists. So casual observers might not have been surprised to see Donald Trump Jr.'s new Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us on that list as well. But if you looked closer, you might have noticed a little dagger symbol next to the entry. It means that some portion of sales were made in bulk.
This happens all the time — an organization thinks a book would be good for its employees to read, so it makes a bulk order from the publisher. Since the sale didn't go through a store, it wouldn't get reported to the bestseller lists. But here's where we need to make a distinction: If someone had instead bought the books from a bulk buying arm of a big bookstore, that would get reported. And if the book does make the bestseller list, that bulk order would be noted as part of its sales.
Which brings us to Donald Trump Jr. His book, Triggered, was the subject of at least one bulk sale in its first week. According to a Federal Election Commission filing, the Republican National Committee paid Books-a-Million $94,800. That was likely around 4,000 copies. There have been reports of other bulk purchases by conservative organizations. That's why Triggered has that little dagger symbol on Times bestseller list.
The RNC's one purchase was probably not what got the book onto the list initially. It was the rest of the copies — 71,000 in that first week, according to Neilsen BookScan.
Sounds like the low sales....triggered them.
