Not sure if this is new, but that shows:

    Nov 9 - Act 1
    Nov 16 - Act 2
    Nov 23 - Act 3

I love that they are doing this, I've been advocating that a staggered release of multiple episodes is a great way to go.

In what way? The only thing I did not like was that it does feel a bit rushed, which is to be expected being that its the last season unfortunately.

    s1 act 1 was 10/10 for me
    s2 act 1 a 5/10 for me

it feels like there is an entirely different team behind it creatively. the hype is unironically dead for me, but it has 6 episodes to turn it around and maybe i'll change my mind.

all the flashbacks are shit and should've been left in the recap, the ambessa plot explanation for fkn what, horrible pacing which is turning many of the characters into caricatures of themselves. sevika and viktor are the only things keeping me going rn. very little feels organic, scenes don't breathe and so far it's a mad dash of plot point to plot point.

it's not terrible, but it feels very different to s1 in every way that i appreciated.

man Fortiche don't miss, this gotta be the best looking animated show ever made. art design is inspired, technically looks every buck of the hundred million dropped into it. c'est incroyable. give these cats whatever they want now that they've finished with Arcane.

for real though, s1 is fantastic through and through and s2 has a lot of misteps and is lesser overall(so far) but i am enjoying it again now whereas i was completely fine with dropping it after act 1

    Spoiler: show
    things are still quite rushed

    i agree
    Spoiler: show
except for Isha death. i don't see how anyone could feel anything for the mute plot point unless more is built upon this later, which would be a really weird way to structure for an emotional scene. if they had to keep a suicide/Vander shot i unironically think Sevika would've worked better.
Sevika bonded with Jinx after Silco died, and Sevika is the last remaning element of her life with Silco
Sevika respected Vander deeply and would hate to see him suffering as Warwick, would want to "put him down" herself so to speak
Wouldn't want Jinx (who is kind of both Vander and Silco's kid) to be killed, so willing to make the sacrifice
Knows how her gun works just like Isha does
they could have even cut in a quick shot of her looking up at vanders statue from the protest gathering episode into her looking up at warwick

act 3 has a loooooooooooooooot of stuff to cover and resolve rn and stuff is already zooming along so so fast. i never felt like i missed an interaction or had to mentally fill in what happened offscreen to characters between events in S1, but it feels like i'm doing it nonstop this season(so far) and no im not referencing jayce/ekko/heim

    peak

show has me tearing up every 6 minutes

there is def a lot of plot to resolve tho and they been burning through it already. will never complain about a 2 season goat run but for sure could've run this gal for more episodes / seasons had they the desire to

remains the most beautiful god damn thing to look at

    Spoiler: show

fuckin renaissance painting every time they slow mo on Warwick fighting something

The writers had no fear at all to make one banger of a series. While pacing felt rushed for S2, that finale hit a crescendo that I haven't experienced in quite a while on any visual media.

it was very good aye, but there was simply far too much plot stuffed into season 2. each 3-ep arc prolly could have served as as an entire season
    Spoiler: show
season 2 Jinx rallying the Undercity ending with sis v sis fight, season 3 dictator Caitlyn + Warwick unleashed + Jesus Viktor, season 4 the end game. reminded me a lot of the Rome series where season 1 was basically perfectly paced then season 2 was overflowing with multiple seasons worth of plot.

but, don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. crescendo slapped as you say, story stay hittin, emotional beats hurt, animation incredible, OST very good, stylish as hell with Fortiche hitting some beautiful artistic decisions. ain't gonna complain much about a 4/5 season following a 5/5 season. interested to see what both Fortiche and Riot do next.

    I WILL COMPLAIN!

episode 7 is literally the only episode that feels similar to season 1, redo all the rest of it and report back to me fortiche/writers.

Loved it. Could have use a few more episodes to flesh out more of the character motivations, but I'll take it. Too many shows stretch the pacing out and add tons of filler and fluff, so 'too fast' is a good problem to have imo.

    9/10.

    Spoiler: show
Anyone else notice the roulette wheel at the start of episode 7 had all the league team logos on it? I picked out fnatics right away.

edit: Show runner was misquoted. Additional media in the LoL world is being explored with another TV show already in the works.
