This is crazy because he and I were in High School the same years, I remember this. I went to El Camino, he was at Del Campo. We use to skateboard there almost on the daily, when that shit happened... mfkrs were tight. /salute to Barnes, he's gonna have a great career as an analyst, dude is super deliberate with his words, that's rare.

Vogel always did a super solid job with the Indy crew, felt people abandoned the notion of him as a good coach too quickly after he struggled in Orlando.

Man, I know it's less than 10 games, but Booker is out there averaging 26/3/5 on 54.5% FG%, 53.2% from 3 and 92.9% FTs. Haven't really looked at many people's stats, so I'm not sure if there are some crazier stat Iines so far

ya Luka is just below a 28 point triple double, playing like a prime Westbrook but efficient.

but Booker has been unreal, and is actually playing defense! Rubio and Monty's offense have been such God sends for him after so many years of playing with no point guard and few shooters around him.

Harden also still averaging MJ scoring figures + Giannas is at 30-14-7. lotta big dick lines getting thrown around early on.

It's possible, just hard to picture right now. The only hope (and the Hawks logic) was that Luka had less room for growth so he's mostly hit his ceiling. But he's already really fucking good so I always hated that logic.

RL friends feel the same way as me. Most of Hawks Reddit just lie to themselves and don't want to admit the truth lol

One other point - one saving grace of Trae could be that he's "in" with a lot of the other stars and could have a better shot at luring a star to ATL than Luka would be

They just got Draymond back, so they're currently fine, but what happens if they get less than the required amount of players due to injuries? Lol

i'm not sure how it works if you dress less than 5 players. i imagine either there's an injury/roster exception or they just forfeit the game.

the closest i've seen is, ironically, is the warriors. one time several years ago they played 6 just players against a heavily favored clip squad in a really important game for the clip's seeding and won.

i'll never forget it because i was like, man this fucking steph curry dude is a truly special and sensational player. how the fuck is this dude so good? and how did minnesota pass on him for jonny flynn? lol.
