yeah it's tough. i'm not a cap expert but i believe we will be entering into hardcap if we make certain moves.

morris is 100% a keep though. he played well in a lot of games, and we have his bird rights. letting him walk would be a disaster.

harrell lit money on fucking fire in these playoffs. he's someone i'd rather just have walk because i think doc rivers will just repeat his poor decisions in the future. but pragmatically it makes more sense to S/T him and see what we can get.

my dream scenario (not sure how it happens) is to somehow get ricky rubio (sorry, bro!) and aaron baynes. move on from lou and harrell, and push beverley to the bench. i believe gasol/ibaka are free agents so any combination of them coming over would certainly be useful - at least more useful than letting montrez be the worst player on the court literally every single game.

I can't see any scenario where they'd get their hands on Rubio or really any decent player that would require a trade. The Clippers have nothing to offer for any kind of trade package except for a couple of random second round picks.

They've traded away their 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2026 first rounders, and pick swaps with the Thunder in 23 and 25. Just to remind everyone
