Says I have 0 in que, and it's hanging there doing nothing. Even the launch icon on Xbox looks worse, splash screen somehow is even more bland, and I can't even log into a game I originally owned.

took about two hours but i'm in, no DCs, runnin smooth. p much the beta 2.0. new hero locked behind the battlepass / level 55 is indeed whack as hell

It didn't recognize my watchpoint pack stuff at first. After about an hour it did. I have heard consoles in particular are having a queue issue.

Figure it'd be a pain to get in, so didn't really try to play tonight, but updated the game and it still wants me to insert the disk?

Yup, thats why I'm extra irate cause my original OW app on bnet and xbox was "upgraded" (their words not mine) and that's why I now own OW2, meanwhile OW proper is discontinued? Disappeared? It's a whack situation, and the only reason I'm still entertaining it is cause it's F2P in a way that my previous purchase got me everything I want except the brand new healer. I ain't paying $40 for one character, so I'll see how they tackle the situation later down the road before I decide to spend a cent on a game I "own" but also still can't log into.

will say hopped on with a couple friends late last night and had a blast. single tank meta has opened up the game in deemphasizing barriers and static defenses, the worst maps are gone, and a lot of character changes feel p good + Junker and Sojourn are a lot of fun, especially Junko. fewer stuns and losing total control of character. will always miss Cassidy's flashbang right-click combo wombo but what can u do

hope the ol girl gets a lot better support than 1 got and PvE slaps

Everything about the game is fun. It feels good. Its still a fun game. New heroes are fun. Everything about the company running the game and how they've handled it is dog crap. After first few games got kicked and haven't been able to be back on since. The battlepass with whats on it is pretty disappointing honestly. Skins are only every 10 levels, and a lot of other levels are cluttered with stuff you'll never use. Which when you have 36 heroes 10 skins every 9 weeks you don't need to pay $20 for isn't great. I hope when/if MS takes over they reevaluate this because this is pretty bad. Also 100% denying anyone on cricket mobile from ever playing the game is pretty dumb to be honest. Also majority of Portugal and Ukraine from what I've heard. Numbers from there just don't work.

Still cracks me up that they have a season pass with no currency rewards. I haven't bought a single season pass with cash in APEX after the first, because you always get enough currency to buy the next one (and then some). Screw that noise, Blizzard.
