Yeah I saw something about their plan having been putting out 3 missions every....18 fucking months? Like what? That's not even drip feeding content. That's letting it die, decompose and then strolling by and using a thimble of water on the corpse.

These things were always obviously a vessel to act as an excuse for changing the monetization model of Overwatch. Doubt they ever truly intended to follow through on the single player/story based gameplay elements and these "plans" show just that.

I thought that was a troll until I saw it was the official OW Account. Thats sooo embarassing like with OW"Classic" coming out, now with absolutely zero hyperbole Overwatch 2 was nothing but a monetization overhaul.

Everyone I know that was a holdout has finally moved on. The free to play shit did this zero justice because all you get now is kids and people throwing. Ranked is a fucking nightmare.

Classic is hilarious. If it were real, I'd play it. But admitting they fucked up and this game's trash now? Never. Hubris above all is what I expect out of Blizzard.

Most of my old group is moving to Supervive and will give Marvel Rivals a shot when that's real, but this game can't hold their attention at all anymore.

think basically all of us have abandoned it by this point but massive Overwatch updates are coming, significantly more change than going from 1--->2 was

highlights include MOBAy level up perks and new hero-buildery game mode

Perks: Passive and active upgrades for every hero unlocked during Quickplay and Competitive matches.
Stadium: Overwatch's third primary mode separate from Quickplay and Competitive. A third-person (by default) round-based mode where players purchase upgrades and craft builds between rounds. (We'll have more on Stadium in a separate article soon)
6v6 competitive queue: 6v6 will have its own competitive open queue in Season 15
A new hero: Freja, a Danish bounty hunter with an explosive crossbow
Loot boxes: They're back as weekly rewards and battle pass rewards, but we're not sure you can buy them.
