Dunno what the critics are smoking, this is probably the best one they've put out since NWH.

Pretty good and Kang was terrifying.

The Kang and Janet story set up Kang tempting Scott with more time with Cassie and even had that in the trailers, and then it wasn't in the actual movie. Seeing that internal struggle happen would have been more interesting and complex than just "do what I say or I kill your daughter," but maybe there's a Director's Cut out there somewhere. Could have even pulled a twist and had Hank betray them to save Janet in the past.

Just got home from seeing. Chose to do Dolby digital instead of fake IMax or some 3d variant.

A note, I absolutely LOVE Loki and it's nearly my favorite marvel content period outside of 1-3 movies.

They could not have cast a better Kang and I felt that way from Loki. The mid credits scene also confirmed it. Majors is just incredible playing someone with such a range of personalities and emotions.

I only wish they made him Scarier.

In Loki, he seemed fucking scary. They played around with some lines about ant man being out of his league, which avenger are you the one with the hammer etc... But I think they should have sent it home more. I've killed you thousands of times, I've killed all the avengers thousands of times, I've killed Thanos, the infinity stones are a joke compared to my power or something. I know they touched on it here and there, I know they talked about how many civilizations he's burned or how he just doesn't care or they don't matter. Idk, I just wanted more fear. Thanos had so much buildup and he really seemed terrifying and I wanted more of that from kang.

Other than that, it was fun. There was some wonky cgi, some forced bits, but it was overall good and fun to watch. I liked it more than some other marvel movies that's for sure.

I've never read a single comic, I wiki some things or characters sometimes for backfill.

I loved this. I honestly don't know why its getting such bad reviews. It didn't feel badly paced and nothing felt out of place or out of character. This is one of the better recent MCU movies imo.

I liked it up until the ending. I really hate when important plot changing stuff happens in a btw quick cut scene.

agreed. no idea why the critics are shitting so hard on this one. like i get MoM to an extent, and I def understand Eternals being just terribly boring, but this one?

maybe it's just the comic book fatigue for real. If this were released 3-4 years ago, I bet it looks better 'critically' than it does now. a shame.

Don't think he's dead, but then again with so many variants there's likely to be one who's like him and potentially worse and will come back.

Sylvie really fucked up. Kang from Loki and this Kang were probably similar (except this one wasn't successful) in their thinking and these variants don't sound too happy now that they've been unleashed.

The consensus I'm seeing is that critics are increasingly disliking Marvel films even as fans continue to enjoy them.
