“Incredible fundraising numbers!” manager Brad Parscale tweeted.

“[Trump] has raised over [$5 million] (still growing) today as Americans use their wallet to show support against Pelosi’s impeachment hoax!” he added.

The Republican National Committee also brought in record fundraising numbers, gaining $20.6 million in the month of November, according to Federal Election Commission data obtained by Fox News.

Party officials told the network that it has the most cash on hand that it’s had since 2012.

The GOP currently has $63.2 million in cash on hand, while according to the most recent FEC filings, the president has an eye-popping $83 million in cash on hand. Cash on hand is important because it’s money that can be used on much-needed campaign expenditures like payroll, political advertisements, travel, and more. For the 2020 elections so far, Trump has raised a staggering $165.3 million.

Trump and the RNC raised $125 million in the third quarter, blowing past Democrats’ fundraising totals. By the close of the third quarter, according to Parscale, the president and the Republicans had a total of $156 million in cash on hand with nearly $310 million raised so far this year.

In contrast, Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has pulled in the most among all the Democratic candidates, has $34 million cash on hand, raising roughly half of what Trump has, at $74.5 million in total for his 2020 campaign. Former Vice President Joe Biden only has $9 million cash on hand.

Gee I dunno, maybe because Trump's overall approval has barely moved more than 3% his entire Presidency, meaning he has an unshakable floor but a precipitously low ceiling, and Democrats have won hundreds of elections nationwide, including a Senate seat in Alabama, the governorship of Kentucky, the entire legislature if Virginia, and control of the House of Representatives since he took office. The people giving money to Trump now are the people who've been giving him money since 2015 and nothing that's happened in 4 years has changed that.

People act like he had some huge coalition of votes from millions of fired up "working class whites" who are going to turn up again to defend him from these heinous liberal attacks when the reality is he barely won due to squeaking by 1% victories in the right 4 states.

1) they have to, by law, either forward their donations to another candidate, the DNC, or a charity, unless they keep it by declaring they will use it for a future run. Money raised by SuperPACs can also be returned to the original donors so they can donate it to someone else

2) the people who gave during the primaries are likely to do so again once a candidate has been named

3) I forgot all about Bloomberg, who's putting $100M of his own dime into this so add that to the totals.
