I feel the same way about that economy thread. I have to pay more attention in the future. I just thought the Reddit guys were a bunch of bullshit so I never really looked into it.
You have to be retarded to not get yourself involved in stock exchange, look at all the money theyre making and how easy it is.
Meanwhile, the stock exchange is heavily influenced and manipulated by autists from reddit.
It honestly feels like reddit autists are an unpriced externality to these stocks and the market hasn't figured out how to incorporate that "knowledge" efficiently yet. It's even further removed from actual corporate valuation tools like earnings. These people were trained in the absolute irrationality of crypto and are now bringing their meme powers to real companies.
It's kinda terrifying lol
I've also seen the people posting their portfolios going down 98% on wsb lol
I did max out my 401k last year but thats the extent of my "investments" lol the savings account archie got me to open was not bad until this year when interest apparently went to 0.0002%

Today, I made more money by accidentally buying options on my trading app than I will all day at work.
You have to be a Retard not to get in it, even if only passively.

But I'm going to throw a few hundred bucks at it and see if I can get a little something out of it.
You're right it wouldn't happen to most companies. Most companies didn't have double digit percentages of their accounts into shorting GameStop, and the repercussions for that when an army of autists decide they're going to fuck over the man and save everyone's favorite childhood store all at the same time lol

Exactly. I get Tyche's reply to me in that thread, but it really is overhyped BS that happened to work out. Saying it's simply profiting on "overleveraged shorts" seems too simple. I'm admittedly not as well versed as most people at least give the appearance of in that thread. Me arguing it won't help anything.
Boyiee seems to think it'll hit $1000, but I don't think people would ride it that long. Unless he was talking about something else.
"overleveraged shorts" literally means we noticed we can bully these people if enough of us buy this stock for literally no other reason
ngl the entire stock market seems like a scam
For an instant, it's not impossible to spike that high cause these institutions who shorted it are fucked. But you're right, at those prices people gotta be thinking about that house they can buy, wedding they can have, vacation or party they can throw...
The urge to cash out and live luxury is strong when you're up 5000% lol

I mean I put a limit order at a thousand bucks but I can easily cancel that and set it to something a little more realistic if I see that it starts stalling.
I'll tell you what though, I'm definitely going to be following WSB more often now.
I put $500 on AMC 2 hours ago, and I think I've already made $2. Beats a bank account.
