The Dracula from Castlevania is dope.
Nigga its cringe when you post tweets of people posting their std laden pumpum discharge.
quality, like humor, is subjective, and while there may be inherent biases in what a cis white male finds to be "quality" his point is that he doesn't determine the quality by the color or gender of the artist, and he bases his judgment of art solely on the work itself, as it should be. you want to rail on stephen fucking king who is a woke ally 364 days of the year about "struggles" without knowing his backstory then by all means go off king, join the drooling masses in his replies
his message was pretty simple to understand and also correct. he's saying it doesn't matter who's behind the pen. let the work speak for itself
if you want to argue with that you're a moron
And you live in a more liberal city that offers avenues for these people and their art to be displayed. What is being argued is that there is not a space created for diversity at the same distribution of talent. PoC, black people and other minorities have fewer opportunities to be show cased.
You don’t wanna go down that raaahd
Cool
eating that 5.5 banana like a boss
watch out for that fourth stage of food waste my nibbas
also the wind is not my friend
what King said is absolutely true, the identity of the artist is irrelevant to their work and this applies to race or gender, but that is the starting rather than the ending discussion point of diversity in the arts.
to take one recent, obvious example for illustration; we all tease the Oscars but it's the only award whose winners most could hope to name, receiving one means an enormous deal within the industry, they define and shape careers. they matter. and in anno domini 2020 19/20 acting noms went to honkies, in the best director mess 5/5 went to men with one Asian director breaking the monochrome, and best film saw 8 or 9 /10 honkies (depending on how you rate Taiki's goofy half-Moari half-Russian/Irish behind), and 9/10 noms going to men.
now it may very well be those represent the best cinematic work of the year (heh) but the fact the best movies being released are so disproportionately dominated by white males speaks to deep inequity of opportunity within the society that sees such gross distortions. and the fact the voting body selecting these awards is 70% male and 85% white is, well, come now.
then again maybe white males really just are that much biologically better at making movies
