The nice thing about Mage is you don't really have to think about what to use your scrolls of upgrade on. Just pump them all into your staff at least until you can wear scale armor (but preferably until you can wear plate).

I find mage the easiest to win with, followed by warrior, then huntress, then rogue. My mage win rate is probably between 30 and 50%, Rogue is more RNG dependant imo.
Grats on your first win, Archi. It feels really good to get Yog down.

im still used to OG pixel dungeon where the starter gear was always going to be trash, in shattered it seems like any low level stuff is still viable through the whole game if you upgrade it enough and get a decent enchantment? Originally Posted by Starby
