Anyway most of these pop girls out now have amazing vocals and the range. It makes sense why Ariana made GIAW.
Idk why she was good that one night, which is why I was so surprised lol

There’s no money in album sales anymore. It’s all in tours and shit. I forgot who I heard say that.
bands have always made their money from tours. album sales goes to the label. aint nothing new there
Everyone says that /shrug

Yeah, some artists literally have to space out performances and take actual breaks as to not damage their vocal chords. I forgot the name of it when they can have an injury in their chords and then they have to wait longer for it to heal.
i know elton john had surgery on his vocal cords at some point
Miley Cyrus has an incredible voice. I also have to look it up but apparently there's some 80s band singer with a 6 octave range? That's incredible if true.

Axl Rose, Robert Plant, King Diamond, Rob Halford, and Mike Patton possibly.
Mike Patton had a 6 octave range which is the largest i've heard of from a 'pop' singer, think Axl was at 5.
but there's a lot more than being able to hit notes high and low, Pavarotti sang within 'only' a 4 octave range
I'm not sure if Anthony Kiedis even has a one octave range and he did alright.
never really thought about it but it's pretty impressive GnR had both, one of the most technically sound guitarists and singers in the history of rock
AG and I both said Mike Patton, woot! (lol)
It was Mike Patton, I'm pretty sure even Mercury capped at 4.
