Anyway the new DuckTales is the greatest thing on Disney+, or maybe ever.

Haven’t seen it yet but it’s fucking lame how Disney+ doesn’t release entire seasons. Probably doing that shit just to time with the new movie release.
Mandalorian is fun cause it's a jedi story without a jedi to magic trick the plot away. The characters are better than what's in the new movies so far.

Main character has less personality than the spinny robot in e1.
Bitch it takes longer to bathe your child than watch one of these episodes. How about we dont bash a lack of character development after literally only three 35min episodes lol.

It’s not even about the character development. The main character is literally a suit of armor. They cast a good actor who can’t display any emotion because they haven’t shown his face over three episodes. The stupid voice muffling makes it hard to translate any emotion as well. Think he’s had one line that displayed any sort of personality and it was when he said “okay” when he was surrounded in episode 1.
The most unforgivable sin is that Favreau makes this and he knew the importance of showing Stark’s face even when he was suited up.
You just can’t act when voice inflections are muffled and it’s impossible to display emotion.
if it aint got ewoks in it i aint fuckin wit it
Maybe its cause I can watch this show and not be distracted by kids, but this bounty hunter recalling events of his childhood everytime he completes this morally questionable mission, having more flashbacks and anger shakes as he realizes what he did, then going back to kick ass and get saved by his own people who cant even leave the underground more than one a time because "this is the way" seems like pretty good development for...80ish minutes of runtime after you remove credits and previously on.
Idk, seems like a pretty good show to me.

They showed that these arent mindless hunters, and they have opinions. They def dont like the empire anymore, but that dont matter cause their mercenary religion worships that beskar armor and they want it back. They're not oblivious though, and when push came to shove not only did Mando go back for the kid, but the covert put themselves out there to save their guy who broke the guild code because "this is the way" and they're following a higher order. All of this while everyone is wearing helmets. They do a lot of focus on body language too.

I am jealous that you are so easily entertained
also in what world did you not see him going back for the kid or his homies rescuing him coming from 30 miles away?
I am hoping the show will get better! The action is pretty good aside from that gay ass knife fight
i will assume this show is bad because all other star wars related content is bad
I don’t jive with the Tony Stark comparison and this is why. Iron Man is a story about the man and the suit. That’s why it was important to show the duality of Tony Stark/Iron Man. The Mandalorian has no such duality. He IS “The Mandalorian”. There is no other identity. He doesn’t have a name. He doesn’t have a face. Mandos never remove their helmets and that is a central theme to their character. They’ve spent three episodes establishing this. I’m sure later in the season there will be some dramatic moment where he is forced to take his helmet off or someone takes it from him. That moment is being built up by the foundation being laid in the first few episodes so the payoff will be bigger down the line. And maybe it doesn’t happen this season at all—they are already filming season 2 now.
Of course you see it coming from miles away. That doesnt make it entertaining character development. The surprises dont come from the character development, they come from the surprise baby Yoda, the progressively upgrading mandolorian, and characters like I Have Spoken grandpa and covert.

When this shit is 2deep4u we all complain, when its competently done story telling we all complain
I thought kids were supposed to mellow yall out, I'm having a grand ole time here not withstanding being unable to binge the show cause I'm ready to be over with it. I dont want to go back to this kind of release schedule.

Are we really at Star Wars being 2deep4u territory now?
