I want a Vacuum today too. I was looking at that Shark Apex, but I really want a robot just because. I'm tired of running over something like a cheerio and it still fucking being there.

If you dont have pets that'll fight the machine, the little robot vacuum cleaners are actually really good. You gotta just do one big clean once in awhile, and change out the collection bin every other day, but it really does work. My dogs wont have it, but a friend has one he bought off amazon and swears by it cause his two dogs shed like monsters.

I will say the dysons are a little fat, and the collector can sometimes have trouble fitting in super narrow spaces. They make a slim version of their bagless machine, but those never really took off. Quality wise it's the exact same machine in a smaller body, I guess people just hate emptying the bin more often lol.

I don't have pets but I have hardwood, rugs, and carpeted rooms. The rugs are thicker not sure how a robot will handle but I can always return it if it fails or go around it.

This looks like a newer version of what I have. I would recommend it. The "Animal" portion is likely the hand attachment with the rotating oblong brushes. It works well for getting pet hair off furniture and the like. The vacuum itself is good for dog hair in general on the floor.

The sharks I got on prime day are amazing and were on sale for about $90 or so less than what that Dyson is.

I can't imagine a situation where the shark isn't good enough. Bedroom has deep carpet and it's perfect for it and the hardwood.
