I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some kind of investigation into the Browns after last night. Definitely felt like a bountygate type game from everything I’ve seen.
There is one thing that did amuse me coming out from this. ESPN had a little graph showing longest non drug related suspensions in the NFL, and Burfict had 3 of the 7 longest suspensions for on field activity. Dude has missed over an entire season worth of games due to suspension now.
Rudolph will not seek criminal charges
Garrett really needs to be suspended into next season. A "season" suspension right now is only 6 weeks. That's waaaaay too light.

Ya. I mean, he should really get a stiffer penalty than all these other dudes that beat up bitches off the field. It's one thing to fuck up some cunt half your size, but going after another player with your helmet!? Kick him out of the league!

Not really going at you Moss. Just really really really irks me everyone is calling for the harshest penalty possible when you got a bro on the field in the same game that had serious domestic violence issues.
Like. Is this where we are now?

Despite the video, actual law enforcement never charged Kareem with a crime. When the real world doesn't go after him, for an action that happened in the real world, why would the NFL take extreme measures with him? On the flip side Garrett and Burfict did their deeds in a location where the NFL is directly responsible for the safety and well being of their employees.
Point is, he's not the only one still playing that's done some way worse shit.
Everybody forget about Dez punching his own mom in the face?
Ya. Ray Rice isn't playing anymore. Was it because they banned him, or because after his suspension no one wanted the baggage?

if the multiple time rapist who only got suspended for 6 games wasn't injured we never would have had this problem
Theres a firm line in the sand between on the field and off the field incidents, and comparing them is moronic. It's not the NFLs job to police the real world, at best they can be reactionary and in most cases nothing really happens to these dudes in the eyes of the law. The NFL doesn't have to say that Aaron Hernandez or Kellen Winslow will never play football again.
On the field is the NFLs domain and they have every right to be judge, jury, and executioner. This dude should never play again, and it's not because what he did was "worse" than X/Y example (though if you ask me it's pretty tough to beat attempted murder).
The personal conduct policy is available for you to read online, and I'd suggest you do so.
Conduct by anyone in the league that is illegal, violent, dangerous, or irresponsible puts innocent
victims at risk, damages the reputation of others in the game, and undercuts public respect and support for the NFL
Is one of the first lines. It's public relations that has nothing to do with their game. Miles Garrett is not PR, it happened on the fucking field. It's night and day.
To put shit in a real world situation for peeps that don't understand how this stuff works; if a company has an employee that took a hammer and hit some dude in the head with it out in the big ol' wide world, and no criminal charges came of it, that persons place of employement would probably never do anything about said employee. On the flip side, if that same employee took a hammer and hit another employee in the head inside their place of work, that employee would no longer be working for that company. He would be shit canned instantly with or without charges.
The NFL does hand out repercussions regarding extreme off-field actions, but they are in no way obligated to. That's how guys like Tyreek Hill receive no suspension at all. On the flip side they are absolutely obligated to take action when an employee of theirs is put into direct harm by another employee while working on their dime. Actions will absolutely be taken. That is what happens in all work environments.
I don't think Miles will be suspended forever but the NFL could, if they so desired, use him as an example.
That a joke? Cuz that doesn't mean what it thinks you mean.
Edit: I was too slow.
Anyway, to your point the NFL doesn't work like the real world. How many examples do you want? Like, seriously. Apples to oranges etc.
To be clear, the NFL chose to do this. The NFL does not operate like any normal company nor do their employees have the same rights. How many times does this come up in contract disputes? Let's not forget they're a non-profit organization. Let that sink in. Then come back and tell me all about the real world.

El Diablo that’s some quality jets level logic lmao.
J/k’ing. I’ve been wanting to throw a Jets jab in this thread all week.
