When my great aunt died, the lawyer she trusted as well as her sister took advantage of her alzheimers and dementia and tried to redo the will. My grandmother had to have my dad sue to become executor of the estate, and even then by the time that all got settled, if it wasn't nailed down or bolted to the house, it was gone.
