Idk if it's cause of venting/posting here or the responses but I had no decision made in 2 months and now suddenly I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna go the nurse/np or pa route and go from there. Rutgers requires 24 credits taken there before entering the program and I only need 2 prereqs so I'm probably gonna have to skip them and go community>bsn route and sit on a wait list for a year.

I joined because of server drama. Stayed because honestly this is the safest place for me to vent.

I've mentioned this before but in irl I am an overhyper happy person. Probably would annoy you with the "somebody's got a taste of the mondays" type personality.

But tbh it gets hella exhausting and I try very hard to keep negativity in check. It's just to easy to let the steam roll out online, and since I've been doing it forever here, I keep at it.

Same. Im getting to the point in my life where I'm trying to actively stop myself from being the person that's always cheering everyone up. Mostly because I've finally noticed that nobody does this for me. I've honestly never needed people to, but I've hard a rough couple of years. Then when I mention it to someone, its feels forced.

I joined while I was in Afghanistan back in 09. The first salvage bans went out and destroyed the player base and the BG thread literally consumed like 4 days of my life when not on mission. This was good, because my buddy got killed that tour. Phillip Meyers. He was the first US casualty that the media was allowed to film (Bush had banned the media from televising the ramp ceremonies, and Obama overturned it like THE day prior to philli dying.)

Me and 5 other EOD guys carried his body on a C-130 in the pouring rain while 26 nations came out and paid their respects. We had a Canadian guy playing Taps on a set of bag pipes. I don't know if i've ever gotten over it honestly, and I don't think I ever will.

It's definitely in my top 10 craziest shit I've ever done. So yeah, BG helped me get back to an initial functioning state. I could zone out in the forums and shit post and read shit post and watch the arguements go back and forth about what was better in salvage, or who was botting Kings, lol.
