I had such a back to back mentally abusive relationships that to be honest, I would have been completely oblivious if someone was showing any sort of interest in me. Just got out of an off/on 12 year relationship because my inability to feel grief at the loss of two family members finally made it clear to her that I was never going to get over XI.

I turned on dating apps for shits and giggles and all these pretty ABGs that I never ever would dream of having an interest in me are sending likes. But none of them can hold a conversation (answering yes to questions that are not yes/no), can only talk about investing and making money, and they all have the first gen familial piety mentality.
