When I was 17 before I moved full time to the US I came here for a summer and when I went back to Poland my sister gave me money to give to my grandma. I spent the money on weed

I didn't go with my family to Florida to see my grandma for the last time when I was in high school because I wanted the house to myself to have friends and my gf over.

I didn't know it would be the last time, but it was. She kept telling my mom and them that she wished I was there to play guitar for her.

Also my sister was sleeping in the same bed as my grandmother when she passed away. It was a week before easter and the entire extended family and then some was over. It was really weird because she had just had dialysis the day before but she was still up and doing stuff. I stopped by the night before after I got off work, hung out for a bit, and left home. The next morning I was sitting in my car in the driveway bawling my fucking eyes out.

I honestly miss her more than my mother and it hurts that she'll never meet my daughter.
