Nurse 1 "do you know who Eddie Vedder is?"
Nurse 2 "no"
Nurse 1 "What? Have you heard of Pearl Jam?"
Nurse 2 " No, whats that?"
Nurse 2 was probably 20 years old.

Back in the 90's the Rolling Stones made a return to touring, and Pearl Jam was the opening act. so the local oldies radio station was playing a ton of stones to get people hyped the weeks leading up to the concert Someone called in asking why they weren't playing Pearl Jam and the DJ reminded them this was an oldies station, and the person actually said the members of pearl jam were old.

my parents took me to see the stones on that tour (voodoo lounge) but counting crows was the opening act
i wasn’t into counting crows beforehand, and then i saw them live, and they fucking sucked and i still don’t know how people like them. mr jones sucks
