Just getting more annoyed with work shit. They assign people to help me, then pull them to do other things before they are finished with what they're doing then complain that I didn't finish whatever it was they were doing in addition to my hundred other tasks.

I've been seriously considering looking into just doing regular home inspections plus the FHA inspection and monitoring if it's not something I need X years doing home inspections to get into. $300-500 a pop for home inspections, plus a similar fee for the FHA stuff, but the FHA you need to do multiple inspections during construction and you get paid for each one. If I get my PE paperwork in, and hopefully pass, it's just more credentials to add to that. If I survive that long.

My buddy owns his own CM company and said he'd let me piggy back on his insurance as well so that'd help cut some of my costs. Looks like if I get my PE I can waive basically all other needs to be certified.

Hasn’t been any good confessions for a bit so here is one from me.

2007 I’m on a cruise for spring break and meet this chick at the pool bar, we hit it off and go back to her room and do the deed. Fun times. The next day I see her again at the pool bar and go say hi and she introduces me to the guy sitting next to her as her husband. I turned white as a ghost pretty much immediately. She obviously notices this and blurts out that it’s ok, she already told him about me, they are swingers and it’s cool. Well this sent my 22 year old brain spinning but they both assured me it was fine and offered to buy me a drink. So I said fuck it, I’ll take a drink. So then we all start talking more and she keeps flirting and her husband turns out to be really cool, like a solid bro, he has a very cool job and is telling me all these fun stories and home girl gets up to go to the restroom and you think this is where I would peace out but nope, I stay and keep bullshittin’ with her husband. In the back of my mind I am thinking oh shit I’m prob gonna have a devil’s threeway if this keeps up, does it mean I’m gay if our wangs touch, etc...give me a break I was 22. So she comes back and we keep talking and friend each other on FB. She asks me if I want to go back to their room again. I look over at her husband and he goes “it’s cool, I’ve had my eye on this girl at the other end of the bar, y’all go have fun” and I was like shit negro that’s all you had to say, so we go do the damn thing again. They were honestly some of the coolest people I ever met. Anyways we stayed on touch via FB and a few months later she is pregnant and not gonna lie there is a big part of me that thought this kid might be mine, but at the same time if she is a swinger it could also belong to a lot of dudes. I kept tabs on that kid throughout the years via their FB pics, the kid is now like 12, and I’m gonna say there is like a 30% chance that kid could be mine just based on what I see in her facial features. But I also know I’m working with bias in my brain. They’ve never said anything to me about it on FB and I haven’t seen them in person since the cruise so many years ago so I guess it’s never gonna come up unless I bring it up. And I don’t ever plan to.

PS yes when the cruise was over I got tested for a bunch of shit and all came back clean, what a time that was.

I’ve only told that story to my two friends that went on the cruise with me and also my best friend from college so consider yourselves in elite company now BG.
