OKAY

DAY
I still feel sad when I think about my dog who passed away 3 months ago. I still havent gotten closure cause her ashes are still in Calgary, and I cant get them for atleast another month. Part of me wants to think my family there is lying, and its just a sick prank, and my dogs alive and well. She wasnt even 11 years old, and American Eskimos should last 13-15 years.
Thing is, I think my dad inadvertently poisoned her. He would always give her stuff you're not supposed to give to dogs despite my sister (who is a vet tech mind you) constantly telling him to stop giving dogs grapes and oranges. His dumb stubborn ass would just say "oh stop worrying, its fine, nothing will happen". She was fine one day, running around and living her best life, then she gets completely lethargic for two days, my dad doesnt think to contact my sister (once again, a vet tech) cause "its nothing", and then she passes away in her sleep the next day.
The way he acted that day, we could tell he was full of guilt, my sister said he was a wreck when she saw him. But he's not in the greatest of health for his age, and as much as I want to verbally lash out at him for his complete ignorance, that wont do any good for his well being.
If your insurance covers it, I cannot recommend seeing a psychiatrist enough. I started in late 2016 and man it's the best, I take a lot of meds but things have never been better. Biggest regret in life besides getting married and having a kid is that I didn't start a decade sooner.
insurance-covered therapy is some sex
gotta pay cash for it all here
Dad died 2 years ago today. Facebook is full of family posting stories and pictures about how great it was to know him and I got nothing. As the oldest kid, that was named after him, I should have memories of learning how to be a man, but I don't. I'm glad they got to have awesome memories, but I can't help feeling jealous and bitter.
Was he not around or did he suck?
His dad figured he could do better, thats why he made many more kids after the first.
Whereas my parents had me, thought "maybe we can do better", had my sister, then realized I'm as close to perfection as possible and are trending downwards, so they stopped at two.
Parents got married right out of high school, my mom is multiple personality bipolar, dad cheated on crazy mom, and got that lady pregnant (actually meet my brother a couple of years ago for the first time) my mom got revenge on my dad by sleeping with his brother and then they got a divorce. My mom used me and my sister as a weapon to hurt my dad, so it was always a dramatic time. My mom remarried her Jewish drug dealer and I got to see even more domestic violence and drug abuse until I graduated high school and left.
Just found out a co-worker I had on my first job killed himself yesterday. Dude was one of those crazy white dudes who'd do anything if you dared him to but at the same time never tried to cause anyone problems. Rest of his family was crazy as shit too but they were honestly good people. Felt like he was one of those closeted genius types that never had the right influences to see his real potential because he had a really vivid imagination that I typically likened to someone who can figure shit out in very creative ways. Also one of the dudes I would've recruited in a zombie apocalypse for sure.
Have no idea what drove him over the limit and although we shared social circles, I felt it inappropriate to pry. One of those dudes that seemed like he'd die young but wasn't expecting him to ever off himself.
sorry yours was a buster tho
