I've let my body go to hell during quarantine. I managed to avoid gaining weight but I've dropped considerable size and can't motivate myself to work out at home. The gyms are supposed to open up today and I may go and risk COVID because I don't feel confident enough to be around people if I'm not swole.

I don’t really carry a lot of trauma, closest thing I have to be angry about is my perpetual broke-ness. Came from a long line of broke ass people. Mom was a school teacher that insisted I have to go to college so I did. Took out loans. Had a wonderful time in college don’t get me wrong. Got a degree that ain’t done shit for me. In a dying job field. Still broke but now under thumb of student loan debts. And it’s funny when people ask how much I owe and say $30k or so they scoff thinking I meant hundreds of thousands. But bro I am poor as fuck I don’t even make $30k a year it hangs over my head like the sword of Damocles.

I still owe 16k from an associates degree from ITT I got in 2000. Fucking LOL FML

I got lucky I paid off my AA degree a few years ago. Of course, the degree is useless as the school got bought by Cambridge not even 6 months after I graduated (if I even known they were in negotiations to be bought when I first enrolled, I would have dropped), so even if I had to go hunting for another job, I probably wouldn't even mention it as the degree is now worth less then a pack of charmin due to the for profit stigmata even though I actually busted my ass for those 18 months for just my AA.
