So my friend had a call with the Board of Directors today, he asked them that if they decided to terminate him he be given the chance to resign first. They agreed. He sent them a message later to ask when a decision would be made and they said tomorrow. Then they simultaneously published on social media and sent him personally his termination.

Americana is a good CD aside from the singles, yes.
But the ST from 1989 is the only genuinely great music The Offspring has ever made. That is a great album.

the only song i have on my iTunes from that cd is jennifer lost the war, maybe i should give it a listen. not sure the last time i listened to that album, probably high school

I do enjoy most of Offsprings stuff, though the later singles got overplayed to the point where I don't think I could listen to them anymore. The 90's was a weird time with punk, with them, Green Day etc and trying to be punk while also not being like any other punk bands like Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedy's, Misfits, Ramones, etc.
