Worked at a movie theater my senior year of high school in the concession stands. We used to eat up all the food like the pizzas, tenders, etc.

One time I forgot the fries I made were going to a customer so I walked out of the kitchen while eating them trying to hand it over. I was subsequently fired.

I was re-hired the same day because one of the managers was my older cousin who was a latin king along with three other managers. They basically told the poor lone black dude manager to shut the fuck up.

Happened quite a bit with a handful of us there that were untouchable.

I worked at Babbage's in high school. You guys were practically next to us in the mall and it was hilarious how each stores management teams hated each other.

Yeah. Some editors are staff editors at a particular production company and edit whatever projects the company lands, and a few will work one big (8 month post cycle) show a year and keep going back season after season but doing 4 months off, but most of us are hired guns jumping all around town.

Sadly. I loved working at Babbage's. Manager gave me Diablo on the PC for free (we got two promotional copies) due to selling the most preorders on Mario Kart 64.

Sadly she eventually got recruited by our old DM to manage at Walden Books, new manager was an asshole. Wanted me to skip high school graduation, wanted me to come in the morning after. Date for my senior prom came in one day as we were going to get dinner and he tried to give her a condom and his home phone number. Eventually he pissed off the wrong female employee, I got called in after I quit to give a deposition on how he treated staff, and was fired for sexual harrasment.

I worked an overnight shift at Target for awhile and stole 2 copies of Dragon Quest VIII, one to keep and one to trade to GameStop. My coworkers were ripping off like 3 games a week each.

Though when I worked at McDonald's a few years later, oh so many health codes being broken once the lobby closed. Manager would bring in a case of Budweiser, people smoking in the restaurant. I'm pretty confident I'm the only one who didn't fuck in the ball put.

When I worked in a resto, my boss was cheap as fuck and stingy with raises. I found out he wouldnt enter in sales to pay less of a franchise fee and pocket the entirety of the cash. Eventually I caught on, so when I started working alone, I did the same thing and pocketed that cash.
I also took a whole bunch of food home lol.

When I worked at blockbuster, one of my bosses completely fucked my birthday weekend by failing to book my scheduled week off, and then after bumping it to the next week, scheduled me on the weekend for midnight-4am inventory. After telling her that "I have this week booked off, why am I doing inventory?" and being told "oh, you have to get your own replacement, too bad". Who the fuck is gonna take a midnight-4am friday/saturday shift??? I didnt show up. A couple weeks later, and me and another employee who got fucked over by this shitty manager decided to take two garbage bags worth of product out as garbage and take it home for personal use after our shift.

No regrets.
