THPS 3 & 4 were some of the best, I didn't care for underground and the whole getting off the board and traveling gimmick.

Coming out July 11th on basically every current and last-gen platform, plus cross platform multiplayer this time (thank god). Not seeing much information about whether or not every single version is also getting a physical release though (eg. My aging PS4).
This one's being handled by Iron Galaxy. I'm hoping they were allowed to build from the 1+2 code base because that game already felt perfect.
Not even an Epic exclusive this time around, neat! Always liked 3 the most, looking forward to this.
The fair majority of my time with THPS3 was easily just joining multiplayer servers on the PC version. It had a pretty thriving community for a few years. I'm hoping the multiplayer setup is better this time around, give us a little more control than that whole automated-thing w/ downtime free skate between sessions. I really ought to actually finish off the multiplayer achievements in 1+2 before this new entry lands.
I'm just primarily happy I'll be able to play with my buds on the PC version this time around while I stick to my PS4 copy. Holy shit my thumb is going to hate me this summer, I should also replace the d-pad membrane on my controller at some point.
'eh, news broke that THPS4 in this pack is getting the 2min goals level progression slapped on it, rather than recreating the career mode it was known for where you interact with NPCs on a map for doing various challenges. That really tarnishes the value of it for me on top of it being handled by Iron Galaxy (extremely spotty track record).
Then my mood got soured further when I decided to hop back into THPS1+2 to hit up some online challenges after not touching the game for years, to then learn the matchmaking servers have been broken for well over a year on all platforms. What the hell Activision. The game isn't even four years old and is still actively being sold, and people are likely checking it out again (like myself) in the wake of the 3+4 news.
Three was the best game... This one's going to be hard for me to resist.
3+4 demo is live, but requires a preorder to play
